Employability Teacher (Leicester)

The role of the Employability Teacher will be to engage, support and teach young people, designing and implementing creative, engaging schemes of work that drive our young people’s qualification levels and subject knowledge upwards. Teaching Employability, you will be able to motivate students through high quality lessons and equip them through practical and academic knowledge. You will run your own sessions throughout the week across different age groups (11-24’s), as well undertaking 1-to-1 work with Pre16 students. Your passion for the students will earn their trust and respect, giving you currency to increase their learning. As a member of the Lifeskills team you will have additional responsibilities including helping recruit young people on to courses, arranging work experience/progression avenues, networking with businesses, organising trips and liaising with parents, key workers and outside agencies.

Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Support Assistant

The key role of the ICT Support Assistant is to support the development and maintenance of TwentyTwenty’s IT and communications systems. You will work as part of a small team who are responsible for the smooth running of our centre and organisations systems including tele-communications, IT, security systems and database infrastructure. This is an entry-level development role and we are seeking a candidate who has a positive attitude, is keen to learn and contribute to the overall success of TwentyTwenty, supporting us to create brighter futures for even more disadvantaged young people. As you will have day to day interaction with young people, an enhanced DBS will be required.
