After volunteering with TwentyTwenty as a mentor and then classroom assistant, I got hooked. With my own history as a disengaged young person, leaving school with no formal qualifications, TwentyTwenty’s work with young people was truly inspiring. I loved working with the young people in the centre and wanted to do as much as I could to support them.

After completing my Psychology degree, I was lucky enough to be given the opportunity to work for TwentyTwenty as a Journey2work coach in the Derby Lifeskills Centre. My role within TwentyTwenty allows me to support young people to create positive change and encourage them into sustained progression.
