Jo Woodman After travelling and working in Asia for the last 4 years, I made the decision to change my vocation in life. I am currently studying for a counselling diploma, combining this qualification with my passion for creativity, with a view to study Art Therapy in the future. When I returned to the UK, I wanted to get involved with a charity or organisation that was supporting young people. By a chance encounter I saw a student of TwentyTwenty performing at a spoken word evening, his relationship with his mentor inspired me to look into this charity. As soon as I read the website I knew I wanted to be a part of the team. The ethos and values really touched my heart and after meeting the team, it was evident that there values were at the centre of everything they do. I’m really looking forward to being able to integrate my experience of working in the corporate world, working in another country and also my life experiences to help engage young people to follow their dreams and enter the working environment with confidence and to live a balanced lifestyle. In my spare time you’ll find me climbing hills and mountains, being creative, at festivals, loving all animals and practicing yoga.
