I joined TwentyTwenty after volunteering and working in the charity sector for a few years. I discovered a passion for helping others whilst at university and TwentyTwenty is a great place for me to do this, as the impact that we have on young people is clear and I see it every-day in our centres – it’s a fantastic feeling!

I’m a Community Fundraiser, which means I raise money for TwentyTwenty to continue our important work and also funds to help us develop and grow. I joined at an exciting time as the new Derby Lifeskills Centre was opening and it’s been incredible to see young people benefit from the funds that we fundraisers generate, whether that’s being able to enjoy hot lunches or go on an exciting trip!

Outside of TwentyTwenty, I like to enjoy the outdoors with friends and family and I love running and taking yoga classes! I also mentor a young person and we do lots of fun things, such as horse riding and eating ice-cream – I’d recommend it to anyone with a spare hour or two a week.
