Supporting and helping young people, has always been a passion of mine and an area that I have always wanted to pursue a career in. It is really rewarding work, especially when you see the young people progress and move forwards – no matter how small or big that move is.

Having been bought up with a supportive positive network of people around me I’ve realised how important that this network is, whether it be family, friends or professionals.

I have only recently joined TwentyTwenty but I already know that every member of the team dedicate themselves to build that support around the young people, providing a positive environment and positive opportunities to help them move towards a bright future.

Even though I’m only 26 I have had various different roles working with young people. Currently, in addition to my role as Derby Lifeskills Administrator and supporting the team with their direct work, I work with a young person 1:1 who has additional needs and volunteer with a youth group at my local church; supporting young people with acting, dancing and singing.

When I get spare time I’m normally found at the gym or at home binge watching Netflix!
